Community Gardens

“A garden is not a place. It’s a journey.” – Monty Don

Social and Community

We want to see that every person has access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Providing fresh food options to underserved communities, food deserts, and our medical community is of the utmost importance for Uzima.

Our Vision

We are currently trying to accomplish this vision by building community gardens in Pittsburgh.

Uzima has joined Ebony Lunsford-Evans, also known as Farmer Girl Eb, to start a community garden on the west end of Pittsburgh @ 3200 Universal St., Pittsburgh, PA 15204.
